UN Climate Meetings in Bonn

Austausch e. V and Crude Accountability brought three climate journalists and experts from the Central Asian countries to the UN Climate Meetings in Bonn from June 11-15. The group participated in a media training organized by the UNFCCC and had the opportunity to observe the actual climate negotiations. With COP29 (UN climate conference) scheduled to take place in Baku in November this year, a lot of interest was paid to what was happening with climate action in the countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia. Austausch e. V and its partners continued to follow recent developments in these regions, focusing on climate policies and actions, civil society developments and media coverage.
