Internship Opportunity at Austausch e.V. in the INKuLtur-Programme

Are you interested in experiencing the daily work of a Berlin-based NGO and participating in international projects between Germany and Eastern European countries? Then you’re in the right place!
About Us:
Austausch e.V. is a Berlin-based NGO actively contributing to open and peaceful dialogue between Germany and Eastern European countries since 1992. We collaborate with NGOs, governmental institutions, and experts in Eastern European countries, implementing projects in areas such as civic education, human rights, inclusion, environmental protection, media, youth and social work, conflict resolution, and more.

The international INKuLtur-Programme has been working since 2018 to enable people with disabilities in Eastern European countries and Germany to have equal participation in societal life.

Your Tasks:
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of project activities and events,
- Supporting in project reports and accounting tasks,
- Assisting in public relations, such as creating content for social media channels, managing the programme website, etc.,
- Conducting research on project-related topics,
- Translating documents, texts, or articles (as needed),
- Writing minutes of meetings,
- Written and verbal communication with project partners in German, English, and potentially other languages (as needed).

We Expect from You:
- Interest in current societal developments and the inclusion of people with disabilities,
- Interest in working in an NGO,
- Proficiency in common office programs,
- Reliability, accuracy, teamwork,
- Very good German and good English skills, knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian language is advantageous,
- Some prior experience in project work is desirable,
- Valid university certificate of enrolment for the entire internship period (mandatory).
