At Café Kyiv 2026, we organised a joint panel with GIZ, the Ukrainian Climate Office, the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and the InsuResilience Solutions Fund. Titled “Building Climate Resilience in Ukraine: Cross-Border Environmental Action and Climate Risk-Informed Adaptation,” the discussion brought together policy analysis, climate risk modelling, and practical experience from civil society environmental work.

“Im Alltag – In Everyday Life”: A Photographic Testimony of Ukraine During War Opens in Berlin

On 20 February 2026, the photo exhibition “Im Alltag – In Everyday Life” officially opened at the Stasi Museum in Berlin, offering visitors an intimate and powerful glimpse into the everyday realities of life in Ukraine during Russia’s war. The exhibition is presented at Stasi-Zentrale. Campus für Demokratie, Haus 22 (Ruschestraße 103) and will be open to the public until 13 March 2026.
Memory Culture in Times of War: Challenges and Chances of Holocaust Remembrance in Germany, Poland and Ukraine

In our project, “Remembrance in Dialogue”, experts from Germany, Poland and Ukraine examined the impact of the war in Ukraine on remembrance practices of the Holocaust and Nazi crimes. The project’s conclusions are presented in the guide “Memory Culture in Times of War: Challenges and Chances of Holocaust Remembrance in Germany, Poland and Ukraine”.

From 12 to 14 September 2025, a group of teachers, educators, and researchers from Germany, Poland, and Ukraine took part in a study trip to Ivano-Frankivsk within the framework of the EVZ-funded international project “Remembrance in Dialogue.” The project explores Holocaust remembrance in times of Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine, while preparing participants to become multipliers of remembrance culture in their professional environments.

Since 2022, we have been supporting Ukrainian families with disabilities — and now we are starting a shared initiative to make this support more accessible and effective.

The INKuLtur programme team had the honour of participating in the Global Disability Summit 2025, which took place on April 2–3 in Berlin. This landmark gathering was co-hosted by the International Disability Alliance (IDA), the Government of Germany, and the Government of Jordan, and brought together more than 3,000 influential voices from around the world.
