With our partners in Europe, we build a vision of open exchange and peaceful relationship between countries. We pursue a featured work in a wide range of topics that are the pillars of our global action: an open society, in which everyone expresses his opinion in public, has an influence on decision-making processes, protects the environment and is able to improve living-conditions. As a result, our projects are set up on different angles: we cooperate with organizations and initiatives, authorities, media and companies in fields of political education, human and social rights, discrimination, protection of climate and environment, participation of citizens and sustainable development. Ukraine and Georgia are, amongst others, regions where we perform our projects.

How may Russia and EU nowadays cooperate? How one could improve the coooperation in education and science? About these very topics discuss Russian students with experts from Russia and EU during the Study Weeks. The project aims at students eager to learn more about Russia-EU relations.

Dialogue for understanding and justice: European NGOs working together for conflict resolution in Donbas

Since 2015, DRA and other NGOs are pursuing an idea of building trust and uniting an expertise of different methods in order to develop a joint NGO-strategy and strengthen a professional co-operation among different NGO-actors working on resolution of the Donbas conflict or on its follows.

Dealing with change in democratic ways

The network “Transition Dialogue” focuses on the formation of knowledge and perceptions of the transition from communism in Central and Eastern Europe after 1989. As practitioners of history and civic education, we are taking a closer look at the public discourse on the topic and how transition is being taught at schools in seven European countries.
