Publication: Europe and the War – Perspectives from Germany, Poland, and Ukraine

The outcome of the Russian aggression against Ukraine will have enormous implications for the future of Europe. Germany and Poland, due to their geographical proximity and historical ties, bear a special responsibility to stand in solidarity with Ukraine during this crisis.

In November, together with the Jan Nowak-Jeziorański Eastern Europe College, we invited experts from Ukraine, Poland, and Germany to discuss the challenges of this war. Selected contributions from the participants can be found in the newly released report ‘Europe and the War in Ukraine.’

The meeting took place within the framework of the German-Polish Round Table on Eastern European Policy, organized annually by the Jan Nowak-Jeziorański Eastern Europe College and Austausch e.V., and supported by the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation, the Heinrich-Böll Foundation in Warsaw, and the city of Wrocław.
