Founded in 1992, Austausch (German term for Exchange) is a Berlin-based non-governmental non-profit organization.
Our mission is to strengthen European civil society with a focus on exchange and cooperation between Germany and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus region and Central Asia.
We support Ukraine in its strive for territorial integrity, peace in justice and European integration.
Banned in Russia since 2021, we continue to cooperate with independent Russian activists and media workers outside the country.
