The presentation of the information campaign “Displaced by war. Залишене життя”

The presentation of the information campaign “Displaced by war. Залишене життя” took place, showcasing real-life stories of people with disabilities and their families, as well as mothers of children with disabilities, who have been affected by the war. The campaign highlights how the war waged by Russia against Ukraine forced them to leave their homes and face numerous challenges in their journey to safety.

A total of 7 stories have been filmed, featuring people from Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Kyiv. Three of them have already been presented, and the remaining four will be released soon.

The project was organized by Austausch e.V. and INKuLtur in partnership with Fight For Right, with the support of the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The presentation took place in a hybrid format, allowing participants from different countries to share their thoughts and experiences. Viewers not only had the opportunity to learn about the personal stories of people with disabilities and their loved ones but also to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those who were forced to relocate within Ukraine or evacuate abroad. Participants additionally discussed the importance of implementing systemic state solutions to support such families.
