FemMoz-Forum in Berlin
The FemMoz project held a forum in Berlin on October 24-28, 2023. The event was attended by Belarusian activists, representatives of partner organizations, and other initiatives.
Online-Diskussion “(Un)visible motherhood – political activism, economic perspective, exile”
Belarusian experts discuss the experience of political persecution of mothers, the difficulties of combining motherhood, work and activism, as well as the reasons for the decline in the birth rate. The speakers shared their experiences of migrating with children and settling into a new country and discussed what is (not) being done to make public spaces and events more inclusive for mothers.

There are more than 200 women political prisoners in Belarus. Behind this number are the stories of specific women, their families and loved ones, whose lives changed dramatically with arrest and imprisonment. What are the conditions of female political prisoners in Belarus and why is this group particularly vulnerable? Who is protecting their rights and how? Online forum “Belarusian Activism in Exile”
We invite you to take part in the online forum “Belarusian Activism in Exile” on September 11-15. Lectures and trainings are devoted to the problems and challenges that Belarusian activists have faced outside Belarus since 2020. The forum is organized by Austausch e.V. within the framework of the FemMoz project with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office.
