It’s Ability! Fostering the Integration of Caregivers for Persons with Disabilities among Ukrainian Refugees in Germany, Poland, and Lithuania

We are launching a new project, developed through the joint efforts of three organizations: Austausch e.V. and the INKuLtur programme (Berlin), the Lithuanian Disability Forum (Vilnius), and our partners in Poland. Since 2022, we have been supporting Ukrainian families with disabilities — and now we are starting a shared initiative to make this support more accessible and effective.

Inclusion in Action: INKuLtur at the Global Disability Summit 2025

Inclusion is not just a promise — it’s a reality in the making. The INKuLtur programme team had the honour of participating in the Global Disability Summit 2025, which took place on April 2–3 in Berlin. This landmark gathering was co-hosted by the International Disability Alliance (IDA), the Government of Germany, and the Government of Jordan, and brought together more than 3,000 influential voices from around the world.

How to Feed Birds Properly: An Ecological Initiative in the Dniester Landscape Park (Ukraine)

Feeding birds is not only an act of care but also a responsibility. The wrong choice of food or improper feeding habits can harm our feathered friends. That’s why participants of two excursions to the Dniester Landscape Park, organized by Drukarnya in collaboration with the Veteran Center “New Wings,” took part in a unique event dedicated to responsible bird feeding. Around 40 people, including children, teenagers, families, and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, joined these trips.

Austausch Standing with Ukraine in Times of Challenge

From the very beginning, Austausch has been committed to supporting Ukraine. Since our founding in 1992, we have been working on projects in Ukraine, fostering dialogue, cooperation, and strengthening civil society. Today, as Ukraine continues to fight for its freedom and future, our support remains unwavering.

Georgia Talk: Democracy & Resistance

On February 26th at 18:00, Austausch warmly invites you to Georgia Talk—a panel discussion followed by an informal gathering with Georgian food and wine.

Environmental Education Through Theater: Supporting Eco-Theater in Ukraine

From December 6 to 8, Ukraine hosted a unique eco forum-theater, which our organization, Austausch, was honored to support. The event was organized by the Civil Society Center “Drukarnia,” founded by us in Sloviansk in 2019. Despite challenges, “Drukarnia” relocated to Ivano-Frankivsk in 2022 and continues to implement important initiatives.
