👇What’s special about this event? 👇

🔥 In celebration of EMOP 2025 (European Month of Photography), we invite you to an evening with Feli & Pepita, a German artist duo exploring childhood, adolescence, and identity. Their widely published series IN MY ROOM offers a powerful glimpse into the perspectives of 38 young people from 10 Black Sea countries.

🎤 Moderated by Igor Mitchnik (CEO of Austausch e.V.), the event features a book launch, an open discussion with the artists, and a performance & DJ set by DISCOROBICS!

🌍 Why this matters:
This vernissage kicks off our fundraising efforts to revive the Half King Photography Series in Berlin. Originally curated by Anna Van Lenten in NYC, the series spotlighted fearless documentary photography tackling critical social and environmental issues.

📸 Our revival will feature international photographers addressing urgent topics like:
🌱 Environmental crises in Morocco
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Indigenous identities in Ecuador

🚨 With Berlin’s new government cutting cultural funding, independent initiatives like ours are more crucial than ever. Your attendance & donation will help us bring international artists to Berlin, ensuring their voices remain bold, uncompromised, and urgent.
