Eco-Camp in the Carpathians

From May 2–4, in the village of Cheretiv (Ukraine), the Civil Society Center Drukarnia held the eco-camp “United for Change” at the eco-settlement “Tepla Hora”. The event brought together eco-activists from across Ukraine for learning, experience-sharing, and community building. Over 100 applications were submitted — yet another sign of the growing interest in environmental issues.

During the three-day program, participants:
🏡 explored how a real eco-house functions
🌱 learned sustainable living practices and ways to reduce environmental impact
🥗 enjoyed ethical vegan meals and discussed conscious consumption
🤝 built trust, shared experiences, and planned future joint initiatives

It became a space for meaningful connections, mutual support, and inspiration. Once again, we saw that when people who care about the planet come together, real change becomes possible. The eco-camp was organized by Drukarnia with financial support from Brot für die Welt and Austausch e.V.
