What projects are you currently working on within the organization?
Finances of the entire association through to the annual financial statements.
What motivates you to work in the social/public sector and in Austausch? Why is this work important to you personally?
Association work strengthens civil society and promotes democracy, which corresponds to my values.
What has been your most rewarding experience working with the Austausch so far?
The atmosphere in club life.
What is your favorite book and why?
“Pain” by Zeruya Shalev, about a woman in Israel who survived an explosion and meets her childhood sweetheart again after 25 years. What do you encounter in life and how does it affect you? That really impressed me.
What’s your favorite place in Berlin|Germany? Is there a spot in the city/country that inspires or relaxes you?
The neighborhood in Prenzlauer Berg, when I lived there I experienced the opening of the Wall and walked across the Bornholmer Bridge over the Wall, that was a historic moment. I find peace and quiet in my house in the countryside in Märkische Schweiz in Brandenburg.
What type of music or song is your go-to when you need motivation or to relax?
For motivation I prefer to listen to dance music of all generations and to relax to ballads and classical music.
