November 19-20 as part of DRA-Project „INKuLtur“ in Ekaterinburg took place the first seminar „Arrangement of inclusive structures in cultural institutions“. The objective of the seminar is to develop an idea of possibilities for implementation, realization and advent of the iclusive projects and programs in cultural institutions. For this purpose, they talked about barriers and their overcoming, about successful Russian and international examples as well as basic information on dealing with people with different forms of disability
Participants of the seminar were executives from museums, theaters, libraries and cultural centers from Ekaterinburg, Omsk, Kurgan, Samara, Barnaul and the Sverdlovsk region, official representatives from these areas as well as guests from Germany. Among the speakers were Mechthild Kreuser, the inclusion representative of the Sommerblutfestival in Cologne as well as video conference with Sabine Lienen-force from the State Museum of Archeology Chemnitz and Diana Bisembina from the central exhibition hall "Manezh" in St. Petersburg. They presented their work and shared experiences.
Further seminars will take place in the end of January in Pskov and in April in St.Petersburg.
