Austausch e.V., in partnership with the charity organization GreenRoots Hub and supported by Brot f\u00fcr die Welt, is launching an open call for subgrants for Ukrainian civil society organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the competition is to support local initiatives working on environmental recovery and climate adaptation in regions affected by the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udec2 Eligible applicants (registered in Ukraine): civic associations, non-governmental organisations, charitable foundations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Priority will be given to initiatives working in frontline communities, as well as women-led and\/or IDP-led organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects may focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf31 environmental education<br>\ud83c\udf31 restoration of forests and ecosystems<br>\ud83c\udf31 soil restoration<br>\ud83c\udf31 protection or restoration of water resources<br>\ud83c\udf31 responses to the environmental consequences of war<br>\ud83c\udf31 climate change adaptation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geography: projects must be implemented in the following regions of Ukraine \u2013<br>Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2747\ufe0f Funding: up to \u20ac16,000 per project<br>\u23f3 Project duration: up to 8 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to financial support, selected organisations will receive mentoring and expert support through GreenRoots Hub in Dnipro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcc5 Application deadline: 23:59 7 April 2026
