She had to flee since in 2020-2022 the work of journalists and photographers in Belarus became impossible due to political repressions and constant surveillance from the regime. In exile Kseniya ia making a documentary about refugees from Iraq, shooting blog videos for ARTE about the political situation in Belarus, and reflecting lives of Ukrainians suffering from the war.
