<\/p>\n

With our project \u2018Barrier-free Safety for People with Disabilities\u2019, we support individuals with disabilities during times of war and displacement in the project countries of Ukraine, Armenia, and Georgia. The project is part of the INKuLtur program and is being implemented in collaboration with partners from Ukraine, Armenia, and Georgia.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project focuses on measures for psychosocial support through art therapy, self-help groups, and information sessions for internally displaced and refugee people with disabilities in Armenia, Georgia, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Furthermore, we aim to eliminate infrastructural barriers at the accommodation sites in Ukraine and increase the visibility of people with disabilities in situations of war and displacement. To achieve this, we will work with our partner organization in Ukraine, Fight for Right, to award four mini-grants to arrival and accommodation facilities to improve their accessibility and organize training seminars for staff on inclusive care for internally displaced people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Additionally, we will produce and release video clips portraying people with disabilities from Ukraine during times of war and displacement. These clips will tell their stories and draw attention to the specific challenges they face.<\/p>\n

With our project \u2018Barrier-free Safety for People with Disabilities,\u2019 we aim to raise public awareness about the situation of people with disabilities during times of war and promote their sustainable participation in society.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project is part of the INKuLtur program, which has been advocating for the rights of people with disabilities in Eastern Europe since 2018.<\/p>\n
