Start:<\/strong> From 01.07.2025 \u00b7 Fixed-term for 12 months with the option to extend
Location:<\/strong> Berlin (office presence required, partial home office possible by agreement)
Scope:<\/strong> 20 hours per week (equivalent to a 50% position)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABOUT US<\/strong>
Austausch e.V. is a Berlin-based non-governmental organization that has been implementing projects with partners from Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia since 1992 \u2014 in the fields of education, human rights, youth, environment, and media. We collaborate with NGOs, state institutions, and experts in our target regions and see ourselves as bridge-builders between civil societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YOUR TASKS<\/strong>
\u2022 Support for system administration (Linux and Windows-based systems)
\u2022 Participation in hardware management and workplace infrastructure support
\u2022 Maintenance and development of relational database systems
\u2022 Support for web-based IT infrastructure (e.g., WordPress)
\u2022 Administration of Microsoft systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune)
\u2022 Involvement in IT security and data protection issues \u2013 especially in handling sensitive personal data
\u2022 Documentation and structuring of technical processes
\u2022 General IT support for the team (first-level support)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT YOU BRING<\/strong>
\u2022 Current enrollment at a German university (proof required)
\u2022 IT affinity and initial practical experience in system administration or database maintenance
\u2022 Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
\u2022 Interest in IT and data security topics
\u2022 Reliability, accuracy, and solution-oriented working style
\u2022 Team spirit, strong communication skills, and willingness to work in the office
\u2022 Desirable but not required: initial experience with Microsoft backends (e.g., SharePoint or Intune)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
